It's just that it's all surface detail of "go fight giants in giant-land" and it's missing a lot of what would make it feel like a real norse epic to me.Peter Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14246000382321978462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817710432110712270.post-91373012442573968892014-08-05T16:55:43.291-04:002014-08-05T16:55:43.291-04:00It seemed sort of like Ragnorak to me. Probably for the better.Peter Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14246000382321978462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7817710432110712270.post-37834634320673608882014-08-05T11:45:38.389-04:002014-08-05T11:45:38.389-04:00The temples were what made the adventures awesome ...The temples were what made the adventures awesome to me. Gygax was able mix Norse mythical monsters with a Lovecraftian alien god and somehow make it seem to fit perfectly. The temples gave an ominous shadow over the adventure.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12896361121217230594noreply@blogger.com
