We have a session of Felltower tomorrow, with a short crew - only four players.
I know which four players, but I don't know which PCs besides Aldwyn, since his player is home from college. I suspect it will be Hamilcar, Mo, and Hjalmarr (and thus Brother Ike), however.
Where to go is also up for debate. I got hints last night, but only hints - and at the time we though they'd have Hayden, too.
The good thing for me about a megadungeon is my prep is done. Even as I've increased my working hours by over 70% per week and my study time by 100%, I can still run game. Prep is grabbing the DFRPG books, the minis box, and going to game.
I can't wait.

ReplyDeleteI've been thinking along these lines a lot lately, as my working hours have been increasing. Of course, I need to find the time to devote to the initial up-front effort to do the prep...
Yeah, it's the up-front that you need to get in. I did, when I was "only" working split-shifts. Now it's unrealistic to sit down and build out more, but I don't really need to. Good luck to you in your attempt!
