Large figure storage?

Can anyone recommend good large figure storage cases?

I'm thinking from Reaper Bones giant-sized to Reaper big dragon sized.

Right now, my solution has been padded desk drawers and hope. But I don't have a good way to transport the figures, or really store them for anything like movement.

I've used GW cases (they're pretty good for small ones) and Feldherr (not bad, but they've suffered some breakage from fairly day-to-day use), and Chessex (ugh.) I'd curious what other people use to transport big, heavy, and delicate minis.

  1. If they don't have things like Axes and thin pieces that can be broken off. I just put them into ziploc baggies with some padding and use a cat litter tub.

Otherwise I use a smaller plastic container with ziplocs and cloth rags for padding.

Those sterite containers I referenced in my post will hold three trays of 25 mm figures. I suspect it will hold one tray of large figure foam tray.

They are Stanley Organizers with removable dividers

Again you buy some cloth rags for padding and organize the compartment to sort your large miniatures.

    1. Sounds expensive and time-consuming to make negative sabots for each one of my minis. Ideal, but time-consuming and expensive.

    1. The one I have is extremely hard to open and close. Annoyingly, cut-my-finger-on-plastic, sometimes-it-explodes-open hard. I only use it for my pirates because they all fit and I need them so rarely.
