Felltower NPCs: Korric and Orrie (Updated)

A while back, we decided to start giving points to the NPCs who successfully complete delves with the PCs. It works out to 1 point per delve. Korric and Orrie, who were first rescued from the hobgoblins in the Caves of Chaos by the PCs in the very first session, are still active in the game. They're increased a bit in ability from their original versions.

Here they are, in their current levels of ability. Also, current spelling - Koric turned into Korric just to make it easier to remember which one had two r's - both have two r's.

  1. I use the Call of Cthulhu/Runequest progression for NPCs: if one makes a skill roll in a session, I roll again at the end. If he fails this one, his skill goes up one.

    1. I remember people skill-check scumming in Elfquest too much to do that. Plus, it's more bookkeeping and more rolling. This way, I can go back and see, geez, I haven't updated these guys in a while. How many sessions was it? 4? That's four points. I'll buy them +1 to Polearm, they used that a lot . . .
      No more bookkeeping than I do already - which is log sessions and count who was there. I can even retroactively do this, if I wanted, with previous NPCs who appeared before we put the system in place!

  2. Just an edit nit - This-
    Dueling Halberd (13):
    doesn't mesh with this:
    Polearm-15;

    Is the skill 13 or 15?

    1. 15 on the attack. I'd say obviously - the Parry and Skill scores reflect a 15. Either way, fixed.
