I did some variant orcs by mini for GURPS 4th edition. How about D&D 5th edition? Fifth Edition Fridays might be a thing, at least some weeks. I could benefit from practice with 5th edition rules writing.
Orcs behind the cut . . .
(Left to Right: Big Dark Orc Orc, Fanged Orc, Pig-Faced Orc)
Pig-Faced Orcs
Traits: Pig-faced orcs have Advantage on checks to smell or differentiate smells. HP are 17 (2d+8).
Fanged Orcs
Traits: Add Bite to Actions. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4+3) slashing damage.
Big Orcs
Traits: Size becomes Large Humanoid. STR 18 (+4), CON 18 (+4). Raise HP to 17 (2d+8) and weapon to hit and damage by +1.
(Left to Right: Two-Weapon Orc, Normal Orc, Barbaric Orc, Little Orc)
Little Orcs
Traits: Size becomes Small Humanoid. ST 14 (+2), CON 14 (+2). Lower HP to 13 and weapon to hit and damage by -1.
Barbaric Orcs:
Traits: Armor Class 13 (natural armor)
Dark Orcs:
Traits: INT 9 (-1) and WIS 13 (+1).
Two-Weapon Orcs:
Traits: Multiattack. The orc makes two attacks, one with each of its two weapons.
Remove Greataxe. Instead:
Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6+3).
Hand Axe. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6+3).
Any 5e experts see any errors? Let me know and I'll fix them. I'm still relatively new at making up 5e monsters.
No Multiattack on the fanged orcs? I can't see the fangs ever getting used, otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI figured it as a backup attack, but what the heck, add it!
