I haven't gotten a lot of painting done, but I did finish these guys up except for the bases:
They came out pretty well - fairly standard "green" dragons. Still, they look attractive. I guess I need to put some young dragons into my game somewhere, along with all of the big ones!
I always get a lot of mileage out of this:
ReplyDelete"Dragons practice r-type reproduction - that is they make a lot of baby dragons and kick them out to fend for themselves quite young. They consider taking care of youth 'a fithy mammal habit that would inevitably weaken the proud dragon lineage.'"
This makes small dragons a widespread persistent nuisance monster and also helps explain why dragons don't do organized societies in any variant other than "Dragon is in charge."
I like that. I'm pretty sure the players heard the rumor that dragons eat gold, so that would explain why dragons are so eager to get their young out on their own.
