A friend sent me this, and I'm posting here so I don't forget about it. It's just one way my campaign could be worse, much worse, for the PCs.
All hail Doctor John Zoidberg!
Note to self: Next DF campaign will be on ships using those Swords Against Evil templates.
P.S. - Or maybe next session will have ships?
Cthulhu fhtagn? Why not Zoidberg?
ReplyDeleteHis cousin Cthulberg does get all the respect, doesn't he?
DeleteUnderground oceans are always a good thing to have in megadungeons.
ReplyDeleteIt's a big, deep dungeon. There might be anything and everything down there.
DeleteEver since Thieves' Guild VI from Gamelords, I have loved the idea of a saltbox (though we didn't call it that in those days, of course).
ReplyDeleteI had to Google Thieves' Guild VI. I never heard of it before. Maybe I need to see if Steam or GOG has it.
DeleteOh, no. Thieves' Guild was a tabletop RPG, somewhat like, but not directly compatible with, D&D. There were ads for it in Dragon magazine with taglines like "A soft word and a knife in the back gets you more than a soft word" and such. Volume VI was dedicated to pirates and merchants.
DeleteHere's a link to the RPGGeek listing.
